Foods play important role in health throughout the life cycle. All nutrients in foods are required in a specific amount to ensure the correct development of all organs and growth. The food guide pyramid helps us to manage our eating habit and practice a healthy diet. A healthy diet includes all significant nutrients that body needed: carbohydrates, proteins, fibres and fats. Eating a variety of foods from all foods group is good for our health. But, these food groups should be taken in a right portion size (serving size).
